KIM GORDON / Creative Aging: 55+ Community Watercolor

2024

Adults age 55+ were invited to participate in a hands-on watercolor workshop taught by local artist Kim Gordon. The workshop introduced participants to the basics of watercolor over the course of four weeks. Participants explored techniques, materials, tools, color theory and value. Basic watercolor techniques included washes, wet-on-wet, lifting, composition and negative painting. The class was designed to be fun and inspirational with a focus on enjoying the process of painting.
