Granary Arts and the children of Ephraim have collaborated to reflect on our community and the ways in which we connect to the surrounding landscape, a place we call home.
During our Workshop Wednesday series, a free art workshop for children and families, students worked together to create a layered landscape of Ephraim and our community. In this project, we looked to the landmarks that surround us: the Wasatch Plateau, local architecture and farmland, and the expansive rural sky. Students collaged colored papers, oil pastels, colored pencils, and hand-colored photographs to create scenes familiar to them and our community.
Creating this piece as a group is representative of the group effort that goes into creating a community as seen through the eyes of the children of Ephraim.
Please join us for Workshop Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30pm! Projects invite students to explore a variety of fine art mediums, materials, and processes. All are welcome.
